"Spoken Migration" is the first EP from New York quartet Memory Field, led by trombonist/composer Dan Lehner. The online release features 5 songs (plus a sixth bonus track, a sequel/reprise culled from a large ensemble performance of one of the tracks) written over the course of c. 2 years, indicated by the diverse range of styles, all written by Lehner except for the "Stablemates" half of "Tablamata/Stablemates", composed by Benny Golson.

Dan Lehner's Memory Field New York, New York

Memory Field is the first working quartet project of New York trombonist/composer Dan Lehner. Consisting of two horns, bass and drums, Memory Field draws from a diverse spectrum of genre influence to bind to a singular, unique palate for improvised music.
